Waxing is an effective way to remove unwanted hair. Waxing can be performed on any and all parts of the body as desired. Preparing your skin for waxing is an important step in the epilation process. Check the area you are going to wax for any irritation, sunburn or breakouts. If you find an area that is irritated, treat the area and wait until it is healed before waxing. Check the length of your hair. The best length for waxing is generally 1.3 cm – 1.9 cm (13 to 19 mm). For very fine hair, like women’s facial hair, it can be a little shorter.
